The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) created the Safety Intervention Grant (SIG) Program to help ensure worker safety. The SIG assists Ohio businesses in reaching safety goals by providing financial assistance to purchase equipment that helps reduce or eliminate workplace injuries and illnesses and allows the BWC to collect information on the effectiveness of workplace safety measures. 

Cardinal Group is honored to have been chosen by the BWC to receive a SIG. Cardinal Group was awarded $40,000 and has been authorized under the grant to purchase lift gates, lift tables, floor cleaning equipment, and truck tarping systems. 

The SIG program provides healthier working conditions and potentially lowers the frequency and severity of workers’ compensation claims.
